Join us every 5th Friday for an open mic & jam night at the Beaverton Stake Center (click for map) at 4195 SW 99th Ave., Beaverton, OR 97005. This is open to musicians, vocalists, even standup comics.  5th Friday OpenMic™ was developed as an opportunity for adult LDS musicians who play secular music not heard in services to let their lights shine. 

Even so, this is open to EVERYONE who enjoys music and wants to support local musicians. If a tree falls in the woods does anyone hear? If a note is played and no one listens...

From 7 to 10 p.m. it will be open mic where solo acts and bands can take the stage and do a few numbers. Pre-registration (click for form) is encouraged, but not necessary. We will always leave at least one hour available for walk-ins. All this is done in a gospel friendly atmosphere.  Show up, sign up and share your talents with those assembled.

These are great events, suitable for mature performers 12 and up. While this is for performers of all styles of music: those who perform jazz,  pop, rock, country, folk, blues, etc. will probably have the most fun. Look for flyers with additional information.
